The registrations for the next edition of the Portimao Box Cup will be closing over this weekend and all teams have still the chance to enter their boxers through the Boxerbase system in the upcoming 40 hours.

The Portimao Box Cup will take place for the women and men boxers in all of the age groups in the Arena Portimao at the Algarve region on May 28-31 this year.

Portugal’s next event will be one of the highlights in that period and the Algarve region is famous for its tourist attractions, beautiful beaches, friendly environment, sunny weather conditions and Mediterranean lifestyle.

The online registrations are in progress and top boxers from various nations are also expected to take part in the next edition of the Portimao Box Cup.

Several of the national team members from various nations are planning to participate in Portimao and the event is one of the biggest competitions not only in the region but in the entire continent and it is in significant developing stage.

The organizer of the Portimao Box Cup, Mr. Carlos André Reis arranged an outstanding event in Portugal in the recent years and teams enjoyed the friendly environment and the huge number of opponents.

Portugal hosted several big events in 2025, the Portimao Box Cup, the Odivelas Box Cup, the Porto Box Cup and the Braga Open Tournament.

The Portuguese management, the clubs and the tournament organizers are very active in the boxing map and they will have more and more competitions in 2026.

The event will be held for all of the age groups as elite, youth U19, junior U17 and schoolboys-schoolgirls U15, therefore the Portuguese event is a fantastic opportunity for all of the participants.

Portugal’s super talented, Alexy Brule enjoyed the support of the local crowd and the Portimao-based boxer won the schoolboys’ 38kg one year ago and he is ready to repeat that in the upcoming edition.
