The pre-training camp of the European U17 Boxing Championships will take place in Budva between September 20 and October 1

The date of the international training camp and all of the conditions before the upcoming European U17 Boxing Championships have been announced today, it will feature between September 20 and October 1.

The first continental event of the year, the European U19 Boxing Championships will be held in Loznica, Serbia on August 11-22. It will follow the European Elite Boxing Championships in Sofia on September 15-26, and the European U17 Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro on October 1-11.

Boxers from the 2010 and 2011 age groups are eligible to participate in the training camp and also at the European U17 Boxing Championships.

The Hotel Aleksandar is the official accommodation of the training camp and the registrations are open until September 1. The accommodation rates with the full board are 130 EUR in case of double and 160 EUR in case of single occupancy.

The President of the Boxing Association of Montenegro, Mr. Alexander Klemenko takes at least one top event to Budva every year, and their European U17 Boxing Championships will be a highlight in October.

Budva arranged several big competitions in the recent seven years including the Youth World Boxing Championships in 2024.

The Boxing Association of Montenegro hosted the recent edition of the European U15 Boxing Championships with a great success in the boxing city of Budva last October.

Their first international event in 2026, prestigious Adriatic Pearl Youth Tournament for the U19 youth boxers took place in Budva, Montenegro on March 2-12.

Their Montenegro Elite Cup was held immediately after the Adriatic Pearl U19 Youth Tournament on March 14-22 with the participation of strong boxing nations.
