The Boxerbase system is the new milestone in our boxing world
The second part of the month of May was seriously busy with big boxing tournaments such as the Eindhoven Box Cup in the Netherlands, the Les Ceintures in France and the Portimao Box Cup in Portugal.
The high number of participating countries and boxers highlighted the success of these three international tournaments over the past 12 days. All three events were managed through the transparent Boxerbase system, which is one of the most advanced and comprehensive solutions currently available in boxing. The Eindhoven Box Cup was a European Boxing Gold Event, while Les Ceintures and the Portimão Box Cup both hold strong traditions and reputations within the international boxing calendar.
The success of these tournaments was also made possible by the outstanding work of the referees and judges. Their professionalism, dedication, and ability to deliver fair and impartial decisions are fundamental to the credibility of our sport and to boxing’s Olympic future. Transparent and reliable officiating remains one of the key pillars of the sport, and Boxerbase provides invaluable support in this area.
The Boxerbase platform is a complete competition management system, offering registration support, live scoring during competitions, an easy-to-use scoring interface, and a continuously updated database of boxers and their support personnel. One of its most appreciated features is the live scoring display available to coaches in the corners, enhancing transparency and providing real-time insight throughout every bout.
In addition, Boxerbase supports athlete rankings and is actively developing innovative AI applications that can assist with bout reviews and performance analysis. These developments have the potential to become the next major milestone in the evolution of boxing governance and competition management.
The extensive data collected through Boxerbase, covering a very large number of bouts at high-level international competitions, also provides valuable insights into athlete safety. The data demonstrates that cuts are not a significant issue in high-quality competitions, do not lead to meaningful numbers of withdrawals, and therefore do not provide a compelling rationale for the reintroduction of headgear in elite boxing.
Another major advantage of Boxerbase is its affordability. The system is accessible to organizers and boxing federations of all sizes, while boxing fans, coaches, officials, and stakeholders can follow competitions in real time from anywhere in the world.
Boxerbase is a system that boxing needs for the future. Through its commitment to transparency, accessibility, innovation, and data-driven development, it is highly recommended for all National Federations and tournament organizers.
