The best Dutch team uses the Totana Training & Sparring Camp as the next phase of the preparation

The new edition of the Totana Training and Sparring Camp is underway in the Murcia region in Spain and the teams can prepare for their next big goals in a fantastic environment among friends this week.

The training camp started on July 5 and all of the female and male boxers can make the joint preparation in the Murcia region in Spain until July 11.

Totana is located in the Murcia region of Spain and the Totana Training Camp is open for the junior U17, youth U19 and the elite age groups for both genders.

A former Irish athlete from a real boxing family, Mr. Sam Storey is the engine of the event, he is the main organizer of the successful and well-known international sparring camp as in the recent years.

Mr. Sam Storey also arranged boxing events in the past, the previous editions of the Totana International Tournaments were held in 2015 and in 2016.

The venue of the camp, the Hotel Executive Sport offers wide variety of sports and leisure facilities, including a spa, a swimming pool, a gym, and a mini golf course as well in the sunny and picturesque Murcia region.

Mostly boxing clubs are there in the preparation camp from several European countries but national teams are also involved to the project.

Many of the boxers and the coaches return to this outstanding training and sparring camp every year to change their experience in the middle of the summer.

The busy sparring sessions can expect top quality of contests and all of the participants will be able to increase their tactical experience with several top quality of partners.

The Dutch team arrived to the Totana Sparring Camp with their best boxers including such stars as the Youth World Champion Maud Van der Toorn, Gabriella Weerheim, the U19 World silver medallist Aaliyah Hoppema, the European Games quarter-finalist Luna Beeloo and the 17-year-old rising star, Zoe Vogels.

Their boys such as Finn Bos and Mahmoud Al Chabtoun both competed successfully in the international competitions this year.
