Inoue defeats Nakatani, remains undisputed

Naoya Inoue (33-0, 27 KOs) defeated Junto Nakatani (32-1, 24 KOs) in the battle of two undefeated Japanese superstars. Inoue won via unanimous decision on Saturday in Tokyo and defended his undisputed super-bantamweight title.

Judges scored the fight (115:113, 116:112 and 116:112) in favor of Inoue.

The fight was held in sold-out arena. Near 55,000 were at Tokyo Dome. It was called the biggest fight in Japanese boxing history.

Inoue next is expected to fight Jesse Rodriguez (23-0, 16 KOs).
