It was recently revealed that the Saudis have given Croatian Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14KO), who is a mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight title, a list of six names from which to choose his opponent for the Anthony Joshua – Francis Ngannou event on March 8 in Riyadh.
The biggest name on the list is former world title challenger Daniel Dubois of England (20-2, 19KOs).
In the list is also former European champion Agit Kabayel (24-0, 16KOs) of Germany and Martin Bakole (20-1, 15KOs) of Congo.
Among the emerging fighters on the list are Cuban Frank Sanchez (24-0-0-1, 17KOs) and American Jared Anderson (16-0, 15KOs).
Finally, there is the American Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22KOs), famous for his doping scandals, as a safety choice.
