Finland’s Lila Paaso and Belarus’ Aryna Kmita met in the first bout of the third competition day which was decided only in the last period. Finland’s new pride competed in seven international events in the recent nearly two years and those experiences paid off to beat the Belarusian at the women’s 52kg.

Armenia’s Karine Dallakyan and Turkey’s Asmin Cabas had the next tight battle in the session and the first win their amazing 52kg bout. Russia’s Monika Beliavskaia had to do her very best to eliminate Georgia’s European U15 Champion Elene Karchava which was the final-level bout of this weight class.

Germany’s new talent in their U17 team, Andria Piljiani faced Ukraine’s Andrii Chernii who trains in the Ares Boxing Club in Uzhorod and he became the Ukrainian U17 national champion this July. The German started better the first round in their 46kg meeting and he was able to keep the same level until the last gong.

Romania’s European U17 bronze medallist Cristi Casu is one of the most powerful athletes at the 46kg weight class and he had the impressive start against Scotland’s Ethan Munro in Budva. Slovakia’s Kristian Mezes, Russia’s Dzhamal Dustiyev and Armenia’s Levon Chilingaryan also won their preliminary meetings in this weight.

Germany’s Hassan Badran prepared well against Czech Republic’s 16-year-old Nikolas Mihaly who competed in the 2025 edition of the European U17 Boxing Championships in Kienbaum and at the Art of Boxing Cup in Frankfurt as well. Badran used the best strategy and he had the full dominance in this preliminary bout to reach the last 16 at the 57kg.

Georgia’s Mate Voloshin controlled all of the three rounds against Russia’s Akhmed Mamedov and he delivered one of the top performances at the men’s 57kg on Day3. Germany’s next top boxer, Johannes Frei knew his Moldovan opponent, Pavel Raducanu who trains in the Timoshkov Boxing Academy in Chisinau and he was a quarter-finalist at the 2024 European Schoolboys Championships in Banja Luka. The German found the best rhythm after the first break and he managed his pathway to the quarter-finals at the +80kg.

Scotland’s new prodigy, Michael Kahl had an impressive RSC victory over Montenegro’s Vasilije Bugarin on Day3. England’s Slen Hughes, Azerbaijan’s Mehran Rasulov, Russia’s Abdullakh Vashayev, Greece’s Stefanos Athanasiou, Bulgaria’s Presiyan Genov and Ukraine’s powerful Dmytro Kasianenko are the further quarter-finalists at the men’s +80kg.

Malta sent a small team to the European U17 Boxing Championships but their Neil Frau exceeded the expectations with his success over Estonia’s Maksim Stets due to his fantastic finish and he joined the last 16 of the men’s 63kg weight class.

Germany’s Kusai Kakah met Azerbaijan’s Mahammadali Rustamov who claimed a silver medal at the 2025 edition of the ISF Gymnasiade and he achieved the gold medal at the Azerbaijan U17 National Championships this March. The German had the strong first round and he had the advantage to win their meeting despite Rustamov’s outstanding last period.
