Garcia stops Benn in two rounds

Ryan Garcia (26-2, 21 KOs) recorded his fastest knockout in six years, stopping Conor Benn (25-2) in two rounds on September 12 in Las Vegas.

Garcia defended his WBC World welterweight title.

He dropped Benn in second round once and then stopped him.

For Garcia was the fastest win since he scored a first-round knockout against Francisco Fonseca in February 2020.

Garcia had promised he would need five rounds or less to defeat Benn.

After the fight he called out for unification bout against WBA champion Teofimo Lopez or WBO champion Devin Haney.
