Fury – Joshua fight expected in December, Cardiff emerges as potential venue
The long-awaited fight between two former heavyweight champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will happen “100 per cent”, says Fury’s manager Spencer Brown.
Fight is expected to happen in December and Cardiff and Wembley are among three potential venues.
The long-awaited British blockbuster fight has been stuck in negotiations in recent months amid an apparent disagreement over the location for the event with Joshua's team having remained insistent it must take place in the UK.
"November and December are both in play but we like December as an option, everyone would be winding up work for the holidays, it would be the best Christmas party in the world”, Brown told Sky Sports.
Brown added: "I'm 100 per cent that the fight will happen.
"Everyone is still in negotiations, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren are both onboard but I'm fully confident we can get it done, of course the final say with be with Turki Al-Sheikh, Netflix and SELA but we are on track to getting it done."
