England’s Summer Grigg was amazing in the previous stage of boxing and she repeated that dominance once again in the semi-finals of the women’s 46kg weight class. The super talented English stopped Romania’s Daniela Ionica and she will now meet for the title Turkey’s Saliha Ceylin Pehlivan.

The Ukrainians have a brilliant U17 national team in Budva and their Maria Rafalska made the next strong performance at the women’s 50kg semi-final. As Summer Grigg, Rafalska spent also a short time in the ring to stop Serbia’s Jana Nataros therefore she can test herself against England’s Lilly Green in the final.

Ukraine’s Oleksandra Cherevata competed in several top events in the recent three years and she is one of the tallest female boxers at the 54kg in the entire world. The 16-year-old Ukrainian used her longer hands as the best tactical weapon to beat Italy’s Melissa Cavaliere in the semi-final and to meet England’s Letitia McKee for the gold.

Ukraine’s next female sensation in the squad, Asia Tkachenko maintained the best fighting distance against Italy’s Nikita Salvan quickly in the first minute and she secured a spot in the finals of the women’s 60kg weight class. Tkachenko won the second Ukraine vs. Italy female semi-final and she will now face with Russia’s Daria Sazhina.

Ukraine’s defending European U17 Champion Kateryna Moroz had a slow start against Turkey’s Ada Eybey in the semi-finals of the 66kg and she had a disadvantage on the scorecards. Moroz found her best rhythm only in the third round therefore the Turkish eliminated the defending champion and she will be boxing for the title with Sama Abbasova of Azerbaijan.

Turkey’s Masal Ece Buruk decided to use an attacking strategy against Romania’s Andreia Militaru which paid off in their semi-final and after the stoppage, she will be meeting for the gold of the women’s 75kg Poland’s Agnieszka Paprocka who had a superb success over Russia’s Polina Ustimenko.

Hungary’s European U17 silver medallist Krisztina Bodnar was highly motivated against Russia’s European Junior Champion Maria Krashenina and she caught her rival with heavy punches in the second and third rounds. The 16-year-old Hungarian won their semi-final at the +80kg therefore the repeat final of the last edition with Ukraine’s Sofya Opaliukh has realized once again after the Kienbaum edition.

Ireland’s European U15 silver medallist Ronan Charles is one of their top future hopes in the squad, but he did not feel the distance in the first round against Azerbaijan’s Hasrat Mammadov. The 15-year-old Irish was better in the later actions, but Mammadov can box for the gold of the men’s 46kg with Romania’s No.1, Cristi Casu.

Poland’s Piotr Dwojacki eliminated a strong German opponent in the quarter-finals of the men’s 50kg weight class but Armenia’s Hakob Sharbatyan was too smart for him today. The next Polish semi-finalist, Dominik Adamski also secured finally a bronze medal in Budva following his loss to Russia’s Matvei Zaitsev at the 54kg.

North Macedonia’s Arabel Rustemovski made a historic result with his semi-final spot but he was still hungry for the further successes and he began the first round well against the favourite of the 60kg, England’s Charlie Keet. His 16-year-old English rival stepped into the gas in the second round and he turned back their semi-final meeting today to face with Moldova’s Alexandru-Ahile Buhaniuc in the final.

Armenia’s Romik Harutyunyan eliminated Czech Republic’s Pavel Dusanek with a success by large margin of difference and he will now meet for the title of the 66kg Italy’s new sensation, the 16-year-old Raul Barone, who controlled all of the three rounds against Ukraine’s Ismail Ismailov.

England’s Ivor Lee used his height advantage effectively against Russia’s Roman Golovko and he controlled all of the three rounds with his strong game play and he will now face with Ireland’s European U15 Champion Thomas O’Reilly for the gold. Ukraine’s last year’s bronze medallist Dmytro Kasianenko and Russia’s Abdullakh Vashayev are the finalists of the men’s +80kg weight class.

Finland’s Lila Paaso eliminated a Russian opponent in the quarter-finals of the 52kg weight class but Scotland’s Kara Young was too smart for her today. Germany’s last remaining female boxer, Aliyah Zeynab Ibrahim switched her tempo in time to beat Poland’s Nadia Kosciolek and she joined the finals of the 57kg.

Romania’s Alessia Onofras gained the control in the first seconds against Turkey’s Sudenur Yalgettekin and she kept it until the last moments to win their 63kg semi-final bout. Russia’s Daria Shiliaeva was too strong for Lithuania’s Amina Komar and she can meet in a dream 70kg final England’s Emily Denham who stopped Georgia’s Liza Lobjanidze.

Greece’s 16-year-old Alexandros Konstantinoudis was a silver medallist at the 2024 European Schoolboys Championships and he is a finalist once again after beating Germany’s Mohamad Ghunheim at the men’s 48kg. Russia’s Akmal Dustiyev, Ireland’s Paddy Nevin and Spain’s Daniel Garcia Serrano also made strong efforts in the men’s semi-finals today.

England’s sensational Shiloh McLeod secured a spot in the men’s 52kg final following his RSC triumph over Turkey’s Deniz Bekiz in the semi-finals. His teammate, John Elam also joined the finals of the competition, he outpointed Georgia’s Mate Voloshin in the semi-finals of the tough 57kg.
