Deines stops Tryc, wins WBO Europe title

Adam Deines (26-4-1, 16 KOs) stopped Mateusz Tryc (16-4, 8 KOs) in round five on Saturday night in Sachsen-Anhalt and won the vacant WBO Europe light-heavyweight title. Tryc was planned to fight Artur Reis, but Reis had nose injury in sparring so Deines replaced him.

Deines started strongly and dropped Tryc twice in first round.

In same show Julian Vogel (19-0-2) defended his WBO Youth super-welterweight title, defeating by unanimous decision Sami Ahmeti (10-1-1) in a rematch. Judges scored the fight 97:93, 97:93 and 98:92 in favor of Vogel.

First fight between them in September last year ended in a draw.
